We have been carrying “A TENTATIVEVE ATELIER” at Carrefour since the 2024 SS season.
It is a brand that is still rarely found across Japan.
They handle every stage of production—including sewing, cutting, pattern making, and dyeing—in-house at their ateliers in the UK and Hong Kong.

From Saturday, August 15th to Sunday, August 23rd,
we will be hosting a special pre-order event featuring the full range of samples brought in from London!
You can place an order by selecting your preferred style, color, fabric, and size.

2012年にデザインチームとしてブランドを設立
2013ssからParis Fashion Weeks にてコレクションを発表。ParisのL’EclaireurやLos Angeles H’Lorenzo, NY IF Soho…と層々たるショップが展開する
2023年４月からイギリス・ロンドンに新しいスタジオを設立

LABEL PHILOSOPHY (哲学) 
それぞれのコレクションには物語があります。
デザインのプロセス全体を通じてあらゆる側面を完全に開発するために、conceptual art, graphic, music, cinematography & film…etc 
交差する文学に基づいたテーマの物語からインスピレーションを得ています。
彼らのコレクションはレザー, シルク, リネン, コットン…といった ナチュラルファブリックを用いてcontemporary sense of luxuryを表現する。
もともとファブリックのコレクターでもあった彼は、素材の研究・収集にたけており、革はイタリアのトスカーナ州の伝統的な鞣しの革を使用し、プリントシルク、ジャカードはコモの伝統的な工場の素材を使う。ウールは北イタリアと日本の伝統的な工場で生産されています。革新的なミックス生地はイタリアのプラトの生地工場と協力して開発してます。
A TENTATIVE ATELIERに協力している生地工場のいくつかは、Carrefourでも取扱いのあるGEOFFREY B.SMALL, m.a+, taichimurakami…といったブランドから、CHANEL, GUCCI, CELINE…といったブランドにも生地提供をしております。

About A TENTATIVE ATELIER
Designers: Pauline & Nam
The brand was established as a design team in 2012.
They have presented their collections at Paris Fashion Week since the 2013 S/S season. Their work is carried by prestigious retailers such as L’Eclaireur (Paris), H’Lorenzo (Los Angeles), and IF Soho (New York).
A new studio was established in London, UK, in April 2023.

Label Philosophy
Each collection tells a story.
To fully develop every aspect of the design process, they draw inspiration from narratives rooted in the intersection of various disciplines—including conceptual art, graphic design, music, and cinema—as well as literature.
Their collections express a contemporary sense of luxury through the use of natural fabrics such as leather, silk, linen, and cotton.
With a background as fabric collectors, the designers possess deep expertise in material research and sourcing. They utilize traditional Tuscan-tanned leather, printed silks and jacquards from heritage mills in Como, and wool produced in traditional factories across Northern Italy and Japan. Innovative blended fabrics are developed in collaboration with mills in Prato, Italy.
Several of the fabric mills collaborating with A TENTATIVE ATELIER also supply materials to a wide range of brands, from avant-garde labels like GEOFFREY B.SMALL, m.a+, and taichimurakami to major luxury houses such as CHANEL, GUCCI, and CELINE.
