Hello. Today, I’d like to introduce a linen zip-up blouson from GEOFFEREY B.SMALL’s latest collection, which is made based on tailor-made techniques.

Ev11シーズンは、常に社会情勢・地球環境に向き合ってきたGEOFFREYが、今期掲げるひとつのキーワードが”Superleggero”。
“超軽量”を意味します。特に昨今の猛暑対策に、”Superleggero”な生地が大活躍。
ひとつ前のBlogでご紹介の生地も”Superleggero”の称号を掲げて登場のアイテム。
このZipeed Blousonの生地は、100年以上の歴史を持つ世界的有数のテキスタイルメーカーLuigi Palisotto社がGEOFFREY B. SMALLのために開発したPure Superlight Linen。
For the Ev11 season, GEOFFREY, which has always focused on social issues and the global environment, has adopted “Superleggero” as one of its key keywords.
It means “ultra-lightweight.” Especially in light of the recent heatwaves, “Superleggero” fabrics are proving invaluable.
The fabric introduced in the previous blog also bears the “Superleggero” designation.
This Zipped Blouson fabric is Pure Superlight Linen, developed for GEOFFREY B. SMALL by Luigi Palisotto, a world-leading textile manufacturer with over 100 years of history.
1930年代バイカーブルゾンを基に、オリジナルデザインに落とし込んだ一品。
世界で3着のみの製作のうちの1着。身幅が広く、羽織った際に風が起こるデザイン。
裁断・縫製・製品洗い・形成まで、全工程がアトリエ・Super Workroomにて行われます。
A unique piece based on a 1930s biker jacket, incorporating an original design.
One of only three ever made in the world. It features a wide body and a design that allows for airflow when worn.
All processes, from cutting and sewing to garment washing and shaping, are carried out in the atelier, Super Workroom.
目の細かいExcella Zip。
1920年頃に本格的に普及し始めたジッパー、当時はもっと武骨な仕上がりのものではないかと連想しますが、Geoffreyが今回用いたZipは、金と黒帯のコントラストがとても上品な組み合わせです。

The Zipper Geoffrey used this time features a very elegant combination of gold and black band contrast.
前面は、表生地同様の裏地あり、背面は裏地なしの仕立て。
前身頃のテールは底部を袋縫いに、背面側にもぐるりと程よく腰に納まるゴムが配され、バランスの良いシルエットになります。
The front is lined with the same fabric as the outer material, while the back is unlined.
The tail of the front panel is finished with a French seam at the bottom, and elastic is placed around the back to create a comfortable fit around the waist, resulting in a well-balanced silhouette.
